I do love an old envelope to work on.

I love the text, written and printed.
Not forgetting the stamps and
post marks too.

I have popped these into my Etsy shop.

,

Hello,
back in May 2015 I was fortunate enough to be featured in the  'Artisan' section of
Period Living Magazine.
It came as a lovely surprise to find out that the article has now been included in Period Living's new book ... The Big Book of Crafting.
It's a super lovely book, being made up of 'Artisan' articles.
I must admit to being chuffed to bits.
If you fancy taking a look, I think it is pretty much available wherever you can buy the Mag...in the UK, of course.

 Hello,
I am just back from a wonderful couple of days spent in London with our 'grown up' girls
who live and work in the City.
Visited Borough Market, The Shard, The Golden Hind and
The Fashion and Textile Museum .... their current Exhibition being 'Liberty in Fashion'.
Happily, photography allowed...so here are the pics I took.

Very interesting Exhibition.   I'm afraid I didn't take any pics of Fashion from 50's onwards...I have just realised that!   Just shows how you gravitate to what interests you.
Anyway, well worth a visit, if you can.

Wishing you a very happy and healthy new year, dear readers.
Just stopping by to show you my latest embroideries.
Really enjoying embroidering the envelopes.

I wondered how this style would look, embellishing a purse...pretty happy with how it turned out.

Same garden style embroidery inside a vintage 'Airstrip' sticking plaster tin.
To finish with, a photo postcard from the 20's I think, with my embroidered flowers.
I love how the couple look so happy in their flowery meadow.
