This is going to sound like an 'Oscar' acceptance speech, but thank you so much to Jayne and Michele and their families for all their hard work in making the Fair such a resounding success. Thank you so much to all of the stall holders for being lovely and especially to all the visitors, who braved the good old British weather to visit. It was a fantastic day.

ReplyDeleteLoving the birdsong - we have a new ap on the iPhone - a bird identifier - with calls, facts, info, pictures for almost 40 birds. Enough to keep the boy engrossed for hours! There is an ap which will identify birdsong too - but apparently it only works if you can get the bird alone - I wonder what would happen if I used it on this lovely post?! A lesser black crested blue great finchy tit bird?.... t.xx

ReplyDeleteThanks for your encouraging comment - actually the knitting machine isn´t as technically difficult as it may seem. I´ve been to one course so far and it´s going fine. I tried weaving a couple of years ago and that was to complicated - I´m simply not patient enough to set up a loom!! The knitting machine is much more "straightforward" and still has many exciting possibilities. But... having said that... sometimes it still does go wrong and strange things happen ;-)
What a wonderful fair. Loved all the pix. I would have been tempted by so many things had I been there. You stall looked beautiful and I hope everything was successful for all your hard work.
