I have been endeavouring to embroider this all day, or I should say, I have been faffing all day. The reason for my distraction ....this..... my heart bursts every time I look at him...
Daisy....well, she is keeping well out of the way. She made herself comfortable for a while in my scrap fabric basket. She will come round eventually. Daisy loves fuss and she's been getting a lot of it. x
There is a little piece of paper stuck to her mouth in this photo..it looks like she has one lonely tooth peering from her mouth!
Thank you so much for lovely comments about Button Nose and Daisy...every single one, so very much appreciated.
awwwww id be the same squeeezing his cutie chops hehe bless him what a lovely bundle of lovelies! ;0)x i sooo adore your beautiful embroidery and vintage twist to it x
oohh he is so so cute! Your older dog will come round, ours turned all grown up on us when we got Ted and now he is as much of a puppy as Ted and they love each other to bits. Gorgeous work by the way.
Both your babies are adorable. We got a puppy and it took a while for the older stateswoman to come around but eventually she did, and the two of them can not be separated. It takes time.
Hi Viv, beautiful embroidery again. I just love your new little baby too, and I'm sure Daisy will grow to love him soon. My hubby wanted me to tell you he went to school 2 miles from Alton Towers, is that near you? :-) Becca
Oh Viv he is GORGEOUS! Have been away for a couple of days so haven't been online for a little while. And the stitching is lovely too. I'm sure Daisy and he will be bosom pals before you know it. x
Hi Viv It will all sort itself out, my Mum acquired an old jack russell last week and he has to learn to fit in with 3 female terriers, he's doing quite well so far. I haven't blogged Wally yet but he is next on the list. Well done for taking the plunge. Tracey
I've just been oooh-ing and aaah-ing at your oh so cute puppy! I would love a companion for my dog Bella, but I don't think I could manage two dogs at the moment.
I'm surprised you've got done what you have..:) He is so adorable, all of us here want him! The embroidery looks great.. Daisy will come round eventually -like everything in life, it just takes time.... Enjoy your weekend :)
If I had those two around, I would never get anything done. They both have such sweet lovable expressions. How could you possibly ignore them. We have a dear old Airedale who quite rightly demands we pay a lot of attention to her so I know what its like! Love your new header too.
Just catching up with all your news Viv and what news. It's never easy moving on, but you sure did pick an adorable little boy. I bet you could forgive him any rascally behaviour. Hopefully Daisy will get used to him soon.
Your newest addition is adorable and I love your photos of the Homespun Fair and the cakes and vintage goodies. So glad you discovered Fowey. As well as St. Ives it's on my top 5 list of places ever! I love Fowey for the shops and Daphne Du Maurier's house across the river and Boddinick and the little ferry and the twinkling lights at night
I am very sorry if I do not reply with a thank you, but sometimes there are not enough hours in the day, but please be assured that I really enjoy receiving every single word. Please pop by again soon, viv x
I'm not really a dog person but that little chap is so-ooo cute! Hope that Daisy will come round eventually!

ReplyDeleteButton Nose and Daisy-OF COURSE you're distracted. They need YOU to take them for a walkie.
ReplyDeleteI love it that you wrote about wasting time. My new post is basically about the GUILT I feel when I "waste time."
