Well, Billy is lovin' the white stuff! He hasn't seen snow before this week, and it has been a joy to watch him playing in fresh snow! Aww Bill.
A big, huge, gigantic thank you to everyone who has kindly left comments, followed and just been blinkin' great of late. Sorry I have been a miserable so and so. Still having difficulty sewing and struggling with the Fibromyalgia, but anyroadup...
Just a short little post today of 'makes' now on Etsy.
Needlecase...
Billy is adorable in the snow. My St. Bernards used to love to romp and play, all except one who wouldn't go out to do her business in the snow unless we cleared her a path.....what a brat. tee hee
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that you too had fibromyalgia. There are so many of us.
Be well and I love your work. I think I told you before that I found you because of my sweet Rebecka of Vintage FairyTales.

ReplyDeleteDogs are funny in the snow, aren't they? Ours used to bark at it and run her nose through it. xx
Such a lot of very beautiful goodies for us to enjoy there! Hope the aches and pains improve soon - I guess cold weather doesn't help.
ReplyDeleteI have only recently discovered your work and it's so inspiring!
ReplyDeleteSomething that might help you is http://www.tapintoeft.com/eft-fibromyalgia/eft-fibromyalgia-testimonials.html I know it sounds wacky and 'out there' but I've been studying lots and this is very scientific. I've just ordered 2 books on EFT. Give it go - nothing ventured, nothing gained after all and it's easy. Fran :)

Some lucky people are going to be very happy with their stockings full of such lovely handmade gifts, Lucey xx
ReplyDeleteSorry that you are still suffering Viv, though glad that you're able to produce such pretty things, despite such a painful condition - I particularly like the bow brooches, they're so feminine. x
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear of your continued struggles with your health, I was rather hoping things might be looking up for you.
ReplyDeleteLove what you've been busy with, the little tins are darling! Mx
Know just how you're feeling and cold is no friend to the pain. Mind you, mustn't give in - what's the alternative? Have you read Nigel Shone's book Coping Successfully with Pain? I recommend it if you can get a copy.
ReplyDeletePure gorgeousness, Viv. As always. How you battle on in the midst of your pain to create such pretties is inspirational. One day (when we actually have some disposable income ☺), I'll purchase one of them. J x
ReplyDeleteLovely items - those house tins are great, just goes to show what you can do in small spaces.
