Hello,
thank you for all your comments from the previous posts. Glad I'm not alone on the 'tat' collecting front.

Question : Does anyone understand Google+ thingy and the way Blogger works these days? I think it's just me, my mind set and feeling annoyed with how Blogger has changed. It was all so simple at one time, but now, I am completely confused by the whole thing and can't really be bothered to look into it. Should I be looking into it?

Doggy Brooch made today. A little Bee has caught his attention.

Little brooch is just lovely! No, I don't understand it all either!

Glad I am not alone... I haven't a clue either! Why do they have to change things?
ReplyDeleteLoving the dog...

Hi,
ReplyDeleteYou need to download Google Chrome & use that when posting otherwise not much works off their own platform. It's another browser.
And we want a simple easy life of art & creativity...
Love your work always...

Hey Viv! I am so relieved because I assumed everybody else in the whole universe was happily plugging along with google plus and leaving me behind in the dirt, all by my lonesome...
ReplyDeleteI don't get it either. I've tried to move circles and add circles and wound up duplicating circles and then feeling like an idiot because I can't figure out how to get rid of a circle, etc. I thus far have been too lazy to google how to use google plus; or search on youtube, or just put out a plea for help.
Love the doggie. Love your work. *smiles* Norma, x
I don't understand google plus either, get the occasional email where someone in my ' circle' (!) is sharing something with me but I can never see it. Keep meaning to work out if it's possible to escape from the circle!
ReplyDeleteLove that dog, very vintage :)
I too have no idea... I have circles yet I don't know why or what they are for. I kept my blogger profile as I like it better than this google + thing, I'm a free spirit who is peculiarly unwilling to change.
ReplyDeleteBlogger, google, circles - don't want to understand really - as long as I can blog, although some days leaving comments just doesn't work! I do know that I love your brooch though!
ReplyDeleteI like Blogger - can't understand Google+. Seems like if people switch to Google+ then they can only have other Google+ people comment on their blog. I avoid Google+.
ReplyDeleteSweet doggie Brooch.. As for Goggle+ I've stayed with blogger but I now can't seem to join in or see others blogs at all it is all very frustrating... Glad it's not just me . Cx
ReplyDeleteIf you get a comment from me I'll be shocked. Read you r every post but blogger doesn't usually let me comment.
ReplyDeleteThis is so lovely. I have almost stopped blogging, reading, commenting. Drives me mad! So I know I miss lots of lovely things/posts. Wish Blogger had a "like" button so Bloggers would know you had visited even if you can't make the darned comment box work!
ReplyDeleteI am doing a (brief)post a day in an attempt to get back into it but I do think Instagram is now my main "community" .

I don't care for the way blogger has changed things, nor do I care for Windows 8, so I just keep plugging along, not liking any of it except all you bloggers out there. That's the only reason I continue...I don't understand any of it.
ReplyDeleteI do love your new brooch though. It's my Winston dog (who sadly died over a year ago) chasing after one of my honeybees!
Cindy Bee
Lovely Brooch.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand blogger. As long as I can post I don't care. I haven't changed any of my settings. I don't do google+ etc. I just left the settings alone, and it seems to have stayed the same. We have a windows 8 computer, but we found a forum which was really good and helpful and now we have a windows 8 with 8.1 looking like windows xp!

Ha, ha, I was so hoping someone might explain - because I have no clue either!
ReplyDeleteAdmire your work! :-)
Beautiful work as always Viv.
ReplyDeleteHa, my husband told me about it, so like a fool I joined with my own name and the woolly dog, he never uses it, and I can't remember how to get on it, no idea what it's for any way, what a bunch we all are! xx
ReplyDeleteGoogl+ is a mystery to me too. So many people are no reply bloggers because of it. I have wasted so much time trying work it out. As always loving your brooch :)
Arghhh! Online technical things just never stop changing and each change brings more problems. Give me the simple life anyday. Lovely doggie brooch! x
ReplyDeleteHi. Just read this after wasting half an hour trying to understand Google plus. all I wanted to do was check my mail and it insisted that I connect with loads of things that I'm not interested in. I honestly do try, but feel like becoming an analog anarchist. I have Google chrome as a browser and it doesn't seem to help. come back old Blogger!
ReplyDeleteSo far i have managed to stay away from Google Plus and circles. Why can't they leave well enough alone? I have not had any trouble leaving comments and such or making a post. Knock on wood! Hugs! deb
