At the Workshop I attended on Saturday, Louise of Hope & Elvis showed me the above antique cotton Pocket.  A beautiful item, hand stitched, I believe.   Worn under the skirt or pinafore.
Seeing this beautiful item inspired me.  So, I used an old French linen Chemise to make these two Pocket  Hip Bags.  I really enjoyed making them.  They were a challenge though,(a real fiddle faddle) as I had no instructions, but I am quite pleased with how they turned out.
