My daddy left home when I was three, And he didn't leave much to ma and me, Just this old guitar and an empty bottle of booze....

 
Hello,
tina who came to my workshop last Saturday, very kindly gave me a piece of the most exquisite Victorian, worn, quilt top...
 
 
 
inspired and thrilled by this gorgeous fabric, I made these flower brooches, in a Julie Arkell style.
 
 
 Difficult to apply a brooch pin as they are kind of double sided...maybe just a safety pin at the top would do the trick to pin to a cardi or coat.
Well, I'm preparing for my V&H Fair tomorrow, so just a quick little post today.
My Etsy shop will be updated next week.
