Hello,
tina who came to my workshop last Saturday, very kindly gave me a piece of the most exquisite Victorian, worn, quilt top...
inspired and thrilled by this gorgeous fabric, I made these flower brooches, in a Julie Arkell style.
Difficult to apply a brooch pin as they are kind of double sided...maybe just a safety pin at the top would do the trick to pin to a cardi or coat.
Well, I'm preparing for my V&H Fair tomorrow, so just a quick little post today.
My Etsy shop will be updated next week.
Thanks for stopping by. x

'Daisy, Daisy give your answer do, I'm half crazy all for the love of you!'
I want to buy, you know £'s shillings and pence, one of the red ones. Please let me know how much and I will wing the money via that nice man - Mr. P. Pal.

Oooh Viv, i just knew you'd do it justice - these are so lovely xx
These are truly beautiful! Such a relaxed style, I can get so concerned if my stitches are a bit wonky, I think it would 'do me good' to have a go at something like this! Have a lovely weekend! Ada :)
When you update your shop will there be any bunnies in it?
Can you see my pathetic pleading look over the internet?
I love the flowers, but i love the bunnies more.
mm! sharing as we speak!
Beautiful gift, I can see why you used it immediatley.
Once again you have triumphed.. They are so lovely..
Have a great time at the fair..

Hi, I'm loving your work, saw you featured on someone's blog, but now I can't find that blog again - never mind at least I found you and your sweet work.
Delightful, and the scruffy gnome looks right at home between the flowers.
Dearest Viv!
Beautiful whimsical flowers!!!!
Hope you're doing great
Much love
Becky
