Alabama, Arkansas, I do love my Ma and Pa, not the way that I do love you....

Hello,
just a teeny tiny post to show my new work.
Mixed media pieces applied to 6"/15 cm sq box canvases.
Here is Lavinia gloriously happy in amongst the flowers with the buzzy Bees.
(I think she may be in love)

Many layers of paint, stitch and embellishment to make these canvases.

The piece on the left below is an original artwork.
To the right below, is a print on cotton, hand finished with Liberty Tana Lawn,
paint, buttons and of course, Lavinia's  oversized bow.
Here she is.
I am really happy with how she has worked out.

I hope all is well with you and yours.
Thanks for stopping by. x

Wow Viv, how your work is changing, progressing, growing, living, breathing. The journey you are taking us all on is truly magical. Alright I know I'm hanging on your shirt-tails as you fly... no worries I'm happy. You are a star on the rise.
