We're surfing in the air, we're swimming in the frozen sky, we're drifting over icy mountains floating by.

Hello,
I sincerely hope the festive season is peaceful and relaxed for you and now we turn and look forward to the start of another year.
My collection of vintage baubles...In the meantime, on a personal matter, I shall be needing one of these very soon, a Figure Reducer! Oh, the abuse my digestive system has endured over the last few days. Why do I do it? Wrongly or rightly, I am anxious to get back to some sort of routine and I have slipped and slithered into my garden room and made a couple of items, to try and wrench myself into a world of creativeness again....although the sofa beckons and particularly the Christmas cake!
A beautiful vintage envelope...embellished by moi! (sold).
A Needle case...

All have gone off to Etsyland ......

Again, and I know I say it at every post, but I really do want to sincerely thank everyone for visiting my blog.
Thank you for all your wonderful comments and support through the year.
HAPPY NEW YEAR xxxx

Crikey Viv I could do with one of those figure reducers as well! But heck, it does look uncomfortable! Where does it all go...? :-O

I am trying desperately to resist the call of the beads and the needles, it is still Christmas and there are still some mince pies left!
I have, though, been lured back to the world of blogs, partly thanks to a beautiful double rainbow this afternoon!

Caramels covered in chocolate and peppermint stick bits; lavender shortbread; copious dates; see's bon bons; and butterballs with hazelnuts, probably the surest way to add an inch to your hips overnight. These are only a smattering of what I've consumed this last two weeks. I vow to stop.
Tomorrow!
Happy new year

Glad you had a merry past few days. I need the figure reducer also but still have a couple more pounds of fudge to work through before I'll "fit" into it!!

It's the brandy sauce that does it for me. Luckily it's all gone now (and I think I was the main consumer). I can't imagine squeezing the spare inches into that figure reducer. My jeans are bad enough at the moment. xx

the envelopes and needle cases are just wonderful - don't worry about reducing until the cold weather goes!! - life is to short to be healthy all the time!!!!

Will there be room for two of us in that corset? Or is it a girdle?
I know th answer to that..there wouldn't be room for one of me!
I'm amazed at your etsy stamina.

Happy New Year Viv. I love your vintage baubles hung in front of your collection of mirrors. Your envelope is so pretty, truly a work of art. I know how you feel about the figure reducer it's amazing how many pounds you can put on in just a few days and then how many it takes to get rid of them !

Goodness you are so prolific - what gorgeous treasures you've created - already!!!

I could do with a serious stint in one of those contraptions. My abdomen is, ahem, not flat. I am sporting a mince pie baby.

The happiest of New Years to you Viv.
