Sun is shining in the sky, there ain't a cloud in sight, it's stopped rainin'...

Hello,
I hope all is well with you and yours.
A couple of things I wanted to tell you about.
Firstly last Saturday was a memorably lovely day, spent at the originalvintageandhandmadefair , textile fair, to be precise.
I was lucky enough to have my stand at the side of katies beautiful stall. Katie is truly a sweet and lovely girl and I wish her every success with her Textile Treasure Seeking venture.
If you fancy a giggle, take a look at sals post about the fair....the current husband makes a debut, as such, on the vintage and handmade scene ;-)
Thank you very much to michele and jayne for organising such a truly happy day.

The publishers of clothpaperscissors have just released a new e-book ~ Quilting Arts 'In Stitches' and I am very happy to tell you that my brooches are featured within this book.
The feature covers how to make the brooches with a step-by-step guide and lots of useful information...but there is much, much more in the book. Although I'm biased, it is really a great publication, very user friendly with lots of interesting artists, videos, links, how to's and generally very inspiring. Oh, btw my brooch article launches a 'brooch swop' too, organised by the magazine! Take a look at Pokey Bolton's intro. quiltingartsinstitches
Well I think that's about me for this evening. Thank you so much for stopping by. x

I love the Quilting Arts magazine apart from the fact that it's just so AMERICAN! I know craft is a multi-cultural thing but some of their terminology I just can't understand. Still if you're in it, I may well have to make a purchase ...

Glad you had a good day at the fair I am sorry I missed it. I am so excited about your shop in Ludlow, typical your move away from somewhere and this happens, I will have to visit my mum more often now! Looking forward to a good chat about it all at Homespun. Lots of love Jane xxx

... I've been and had a look at Pokey's video which makes it so much clearer. I may well have to have this.

It was lovely to be able to chat a bit on Saturday as we were stalled so close this time. Inspired by your plans for Homespun, I have booked a B&B for the Saturday night before so thanks for prompting me! Loving the photos of your unit...would love to go there one day!

I'm sorry I missed the fair, but as I wrote on my blog, my head has been occupied with fundamental changes that are to come. Next time I will live nearer and it will be much easier to visit all those fairs.
It's great to see your work published. I'll definitely have to buy another one of your unique broches at the Homespun Fair.
See you soon. Love, Gertie
