Sunday 21 September 2014

 Hello,
long time no post.
What a whirlwind I have been caught up in just of late, all good though.
First of all, the current husband and I visited the huge Braderie at Lille, France, the beginning of September.   A giant boot fair really, with a mix of vile plastic tat and great vintage finds...but you have to look really hard for those.   The fun is in the looking though.
Then, just enough time to sort my clothes out and off my girl and I flew to Menorca for a week.
I kind of expected it to be lovely and warm, but Menorca is having an unusal heat wave and the temp was 30 degrees with very high  humidy.   Swimming in the crystal clear, amazingly warm, aqua coloured sea was like being in heaven.   I want to go back and soon!
 Colours of Menorca.

Back home and I wanted to tell you how happy I am to have pieces of my work in
 'Books of the Unexpected' Exhibition,
'Curated by artist Becky Adams, this exhibition looks at works by artists inspired by the form, structure and content of books.
Exhibiting artists: Karen Apps, Susie Bright, Jessie Chorley, Yvette Hawkins, Alison MogerBetty Pepper, Phiona Richards, Donna Rumble-SmithViv Sliwka and Becky Adams.'
