Hello,
I hope all is well with you and yours.
Well, a week has flown by since the close the The Contemporary Craft Festival
After 6 months of preparation, the Festival is all over in a blink of an eye. I think the best part of the show was meeting up with old friends, making new friends and chatting to visitors. I was up against the most incredible competition. So much stunning and very desirable contemporary craft.
Here is my stand, that my current husband created for me. I was really pleased with the look of the stand, as I wanted an English, month of June, garden theme. The only change I would make if ever there is a next time, would be to spend the money and hire a much bigger stand. The weather had been very changeable with heavy downpours, so visitors arrived laden with rain coats, brollies, bags etc...so unfortunately, the 2 x 2m stand would only accommodate a couple of people at a time. All a rich learning curve, I would say.
Other Exhibitor links below...you may already know, but whose work is to me, is exquisite.

Very nice. Wish I could have seen it in person. So funny when you said "current" husband. Do you switch often?
Very beautifully displayed stand Viv; I think I could take a leaf out of your book and do more spacing around my work. I do tend to overcrowd my stand! On the subject of what size stand to go for, I do think that small can sometimes look more appealing to the eye, and funnily enough draw more people in because they see it full and want to know what all the fuss is about! It's a difficult balancing act.....I almost came to Bovey but was immersed in preparations for my trip to Sussex. Wish I'd gone now.......xxx
Thank you for the link. Your stand did look like a garden in June although my garden is becoming a bit of a bog. Fabulous work. XX
WOW, that is one fabulous booth, very inviting! - must get my current husband to Home Depot -
You, this blog, and your art completely encapsulate why I wish I lived over in your neck of the woods. Oh, and there is no Trump over there.

I, too, chuckled over your "current" husband, wondering if perhaps you have another waiting in the wings. Love your artistry and your booth looked delightful.
