I will never have any money!

I would like you to meet the girls, well the Lavender Ladies to be precise! Hilary, Maude and Olivia. Here they are having a chat with Little Ted.
These girls like to have fun and enjoy dressing up. Floral frocks with bird detailing and button accessories, bang on trend! A mane of floral and muslin hair, so jealous! Smelling of Lavender (filled with it, they are). Wire legs and a wire hoop to hang around and chat to friends.

All three living in Etsyland at the moment, all in need of good company, someone who appreciates a girls' fine qualities!
Onto more brooches...... such a pleasure to make.

I also wanted to tell you about my trip to Ludlow yesterday and particularly a wonderful Antiques Emporium zanilady. I adore this centre, it is filled with mostly French antiques and vintage items. Every time I visit there is always something new and wonderful for the home. Well, me being me, I couldn't resist this picture, no way could I have walked away from this. Please forgive dreadful photo, but I just could not lose the reflection. Stunning black background in contrast to the sumptuous colours of the flowers and birds.
Birdies....don't you just love 'em!
And yes, there is more, the last thing I should be doing at the mo is spending money...but I will never have any and especially when I see lovely furniture like the kitchen hutch that came home too. Perfect size, perfect colour, so pleased. Holly reigned me in, as there was more I could have quite happily purchased. Glad she did really, as I would have gone on one massive guilt trip later.
So I haven't finished playing with my new 'hutch' yet, but you get the picture.

Well, after my tales of self indulgencies, I will love you and leave you and thankyou very much for stopping by.

Oh Viv, your little ladies are sooooo sweet! Will we see any at Home spun? I am so jealous of you going into Zanilady, I love that shop and always go there when I stay at my mums. I always save up as much as I can as I will always find loads to buy! We dont have places like that in Cornwall and if you do find stuff it is SO expensive in comparison. Love your hutch, looking forward to seeing what you do with it. Jane xxxx PS Have posters and postcards for the fair if you could use any?? let me know.

Ooo I love Zanilady too. Haven't been able to get to Ludlow for a year or two but my mum (who grew up there) came home yesterday after her annual three week jaunt to the festival (she does the posters/t-shirts/programmes and had an exhib this year) she did the flea market too!
What lovely ladies.

Hello and *waves* to the Lavender Ladies - - - I wonder do they drive about in Muriel? (If it wasn't for my mobile burger bar I'd definitely go for a Muriel!)

The dolls are lovely! And so is the kitchen hutch - I can understand you had to have it ;-)

I will never have any money either - I spend too much, do not earn enough, the motor of our car broke down and we had to buy a new one, and today I got a parking fine - which here in Denmark, the most expensive country in the whole of Europe, hooray - means 60 £ for having forgotten to set the parking meter...... deep sigh...

Oh, forgot to say, I love your "new" car!!! And your doggies are too sweet!

Hi Viv, your lavender ladies are lovely (is that enough L's for you!) Thankyou for visiting me the other day and sorry I have taken a little while to say 'hi' but the kids have started holidays so time has not exactly been in abundance. I hope you have a warm and sunny Summer :)
