Primrose Bakery, reminded me of 'Happy Days'.

Just a few pics of Harrods. A rare true blue sky that stayed with us for the whole day!!!

Food Halls...

Wonderful couple of days but always lovely to come home.

years since I worked in London and I had almost forgotton how diverse it is ... Harrods brought memories of my first grown up perfume purchased there and your pics made it look like it had been opened exclusively to you! not a soul in sight. Wish I could have tagged along. yaps

I loved the small tour of London Viv, I haven't been there for years and am looking forward to my visit in September.

Love the "Happy Days" bakery. It did look like that.

HI Viv, We had use of a flat in Londonfor 4 nights last weekend but had to cancel! I wanted to do Liberty & Anthropologie as I never have, but I have seen the Harrods food hall, what a beautiful place it is, I especially loves the fish part with the tiles and mermaids (if I remember correctly). I am glad that someone had a lovely weekend in the city,
Tracey

I lived in London for six years in my late teens, early twenties - Harrods I miss you. I can remember taking my sister and neice there when my neice was just out of nappies. We were on our way to the ladies when my neice insisted she had to go 'right now', so there we were with her on a potty in the corridor outside the loos. Hmmm, happy days!

Thank you so much for sharing these beautiful photos!!! My son would LOVE the bakery! He dreams of going to England and France, visiting all the places he has read in history books and eating all of the good food! LOL! The buildings are gorgeous! Have a lovely day! Love, Paula

How far from London do you live Viv?
Maybe we could meet there one day and sit on the awesome yellow chairs and have a nice chat!

A few years ago I was buying a hard-to-find Christmas present in Harrods' toy department. The cashier had disappeared to sort out a query from the customer in front of me in the queue. She was gone soooooo long that I began to lose patience. Turning my grumpy face to look behind to see if there was any sign of her, I came face to face with Paul McCartney standing behind me in the queue. I mean, what a time to have my grumpy face on! Paul McCartney! I blushed deeeep red and turned away. I couldn't get away quick enough! xx
