I saw the light on the night that I passed by her window

Hello...
Thanks so much to everyone who was kind enough to leave a comment. I have really enjoyed every single word. The above Suspender Brooch was up for grabs, along with a copy of 'Cloth' ... so here goes....every comment printed and folded and into the bowl...
eyes closed and picked at random...
the lovely Helen, being the winner. Helen please email and I will send your little prize along forthwith....
I have been in the mood for brooch making, just lately. I've made, quite a few...

and a purse or two...
this is the reverse of one...
all coming down with me to
homespun fair, Cornwall this coming weekend...squeal!
I am also very happy to announce that The Wear-House now has a blog and also a website .... both are still in the early stages..... Ludlow has a renowned foodfestival coming up in September and The Wear-House will be showcasing their wares along with others at the Fair. Much to look forward to.
Now just on a final note...I have been 'feeling' my age just of late. Won't bore you with the details.... this clip of Billy Crystal in City Slickers sums it all up beautifully :-)

Thanks so much for stopping by. x

Love the new goodies! Sadly related to Mr. Crystals speech -- way more than I did when the movie first came out .. does that mean I am old? ... hum....

Oh bless. I guess we all get a little 'Billy Crystal' at some time. I know I have/do. But we don't have to conform to this map of life. Put on that red hat and the dress that doesn't match.
You create wonderful things and (I know I've said this before) your birds especially, always bring a smile to my face.
Hope you're feeling much better about things soon. xx

Hi Viv

Lovely goodies as always! Am wondering if we'll get to the shop during the Food Festival. Something to work towards!

Sorry you've been feeling your age ... tell me about it!!!! Loved the video clip.

Enjoy Portscatho - and wrap up some of the atmosphere for me. I'm so sorry not to be doing it this time.

Lucky Helen. So pleased for her.
We have been searching for a place to stay in Cornwall next week and have given up and may be going to Harris. I didn't realise it was the fair. You must have booked your place to stay months ago. Its such a shame we can't seem to do any spontaneous holidays nowadays.
