Just when I think I'm winning, when I've broken every door, the ghosts of my life blow wilder than before.....

 Hello!
Back from our travels in France.
We travelled without the company of Donkeys or a Monkey...too much hassle!
So, here are a few pictures of our glorious few days in the Loire Valley, with our dear family.

~0~
I have spent the day updating my shops with a few new pieces,

such as this mixed media piece.
I have incorporated my favs together, envelope, stitch and buttons....oh those buttons.

Well, my friends, I hope all is well in your world.
Thanks for stopping by.x
ps: I am sorry if I have not replied to your comments, it has all been a bit bonkers around here just lately, but thank you so much.

That has brought back lots of memories of childhood holidays in the Loire Valley. I didn't appreciate age 9-12 quite how gorgeous it all is. So glad you had happy days there, Ax

I had almost forgotten just how lovely and very rustic France was. It was many years ago when we used to take the family there for camping holidays and have such happy memories. Love your photos.....x

beautiful pictures, looks like a fantastic time was had by all. You know what they say, never work with children and animals. I think you made the right decision leaving the menagerie behind!

Lovely pictures. I love the way every one of the sunflowers face into the sun, as if they are sunbathing.

It looks like you had a great holiday, you obviously had all the sunshine. We had so much rain in Holland, you'd never believe it. Great photo's, love the new work.

Such a lovely blog.
I've just dusted off Nan's old sewing machine and am beginning my foray into the world of sewing. I have started off with some verrrrrrrry easy projects, but would love to have a go at some embroidery too.
I shall be following your blog to keep up with your gorgeous work!
If you get a mo, do pop over to my end of bloggyland to say hello. I'd love to know what you think.

Beautiful French piccies, btw.

We are hearing on IRONICUS MAXIMUS that the PR is RED?
And DELL?
EDWARD MEESE?
And DUKE?
Can you come over to the blog and comment?
This is the best of the six blogs going, IMHO.

Well dear I ALWAYS love seeing your work, but the added bonus of the fantastic Loire Valley photos knocked me over. I am now going to save every penny to go there.

Thank you, thank you for giving me this gift. I am hard at the finish of my bird book and seldom look up from my drafting table. This was an especially sweet treat for me.

Love and thanks,

Viv,

Since you didn't take donkey,
I would of gladly gone
And oats would of been fine,
and sleeping with the sunflowers at night , that would of worked for me too.
You take stunning photos.

You've quoted from one of my very favourite songs :)
'Forbidden Colours' was played on Radio Scotland the other day and, as these things usually come in threes, I wonder where Mr Sylvian will pop up next!

Love your beautiful work.
