Hello, is there anybody in there? Just nod if you can hear me, is there anyone home?...

Just to let you know, I have another workshop now available.
I have booked Weston Park for another
Haberdashery Brooch Workshop
on the 28th April 10-4pm
Weston Park will be so pretty, with the woods coming into leaf and the Spring blossoms.
This is the view from the car park, down where the class room is situated.
The little green hut on the left, I think, is something to do with the teeny tiny gauge train they have running around part of the Estate in the summer months.
Any questions about the workshop, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Link under header to my Workshop Blog :)

I made these two brooches today.
The picture of the bird and nest is on silk.
The aqua colour is really gorgeous and the blue is picked up by the seed beads.
I'm feeling a bit lifted with the sniff of Spring in the air.
Well, it's more than a sniff really and very welcome.
So I added the 'spring time' text.

~0~
Just lately I have been shown a great deal of kindness, love, and generosity by my dear friends.
There has been a little turn in positive things happening too, here at Hen's Teeth HQ.
Having fibromyalgia... it is very easy to slip into a depressive statement mind.
But, I try very hard to stay positive.   Family would probs disagree:)
Anyway,
with so many lovely things happening just lately,
I wanted to 'pass it on' in a small way and I have put this purse up for a 'giveaway'.
A plain and simple comment would be great and I will use a random selector thingy,
next Friday 9th March to choose a name.

Thank you for stopping by. x

Dear Hens Teeth viv,

My Mother in law and sister in law both have fibromyalgia, so I know how it can play with your emotional state and energy levels. I think that having your creativity must be a huge help when times are down.

My sister in law has just a started a small business making beaded bracelets and I know she has found creativity a great coping mechanism.

I would like to enter your lovely giveaway if I am lucky enough to win, I would give my purse to my mother in law Jean as a symbol of hope and creativity in what can sometime be hard times.
