Take a ride in the sky, on our ship fantasii. All your dreams will come true, right away...

Hello!
Happy Spring time.
The little painting above is called 'Grace',
a gift from my friend Paula
 isn't she lovely?
~0~
Textiles found at Vintage & Handmade Jumble last Saturday,
smashing day out.

This gorgeous piece of hand stitched patchwork dated 1859 and 1866.

I think this pieces may be Georgian?

Below :: Lovely quilt piece, the top fabric has been covered by the lighter background fabric.
So interesting to find another print underneath.

Barkcloth curtain swatch.

Every single thread of all these textiles I absolutely adore,
but you knew that already, you know how I feel about tired textiles.

Below, gifts.
I have wonderful friends.
The textiles above were purchased from jo and ali thank you lovely ladies for bringing such lovely textiles to the jumble and making me a happy girl.

A snapshot below of chaos, the current husband has to endure at Hen's Teeth Heights ...
prep for a
big Fair

My little fingers are worn to the bone...a makin'.
I have a few 'free admission' tickets to give away.
If you are going and you would like a ticket, please let me know.
Hope to see you there.
To everyone,  who, in some way, contribute to this blog,
thank you so much for all your support and encouragement,

I'm drooling over those exquisite old hand stitched quilts - what treasures you've collected!
Oh I so wish I lived in the UK, I would be at the fair in a heartbeat to buy something from you - sadly I'm 12,000 miles away in NZ!!!

Dearest Viv! I am so happy to see a post from you and I am delighted you like your little "Grace" painting sweetie! You are so kind to share it. She looks quite happy next to the lovely stitched cottage! I love all of your gorgeous textiles and I am glad you found so many pretties that bring you such pleasure! You deserve it dear friend! I love seeing a peek into your beautiful cottage and all your amazing creations! I know you will do very well at the Selvedge Fair, but I am worried about you being so tired! Please take good care of your lovely self and have fun at the wonderful Fair. I can hardly wait to hear all about it and see some photos if you have time to take them. You are so loved dear heart! xoxo Your friend, Paula

Hi Viv,
Wonderful buys from the Jumble (can you believe what can be purchased at a Jumble sale?? Takes your breath away, doesn't it?) I also bought from Jo and Ali - that had so many lovely treasures, as did you.

Good luck at the Selvedge Fair - I know all your hard work will be worthwhile - they will love you!

Take some time to enjoy the sunshine if you can!
