Here we come, walking down the street....

Hello,
I would love you to meet the new member of the family...
Billy or as Holly and I call him Billy Button Nose!
We adore him....Daisy our ten year old Bichon doesn't! She really can't be doing, at her age, with a bouncy, bouncy pup, wanting to play!

He has big paw prints to fill, as we still miss our lovely Rosie girl so very much. He is a good boy though and I feel very sure having him to come to live with us was the right thing to do.
~0~
My current husband and I travelled down to Cornwall last Sunday, as you probably know, for the homespun fair.
We arrived Sunday late afternoon and dashed over to Fowey.
Oh my word...what a stunning town. Historic buildings, pirates, Daphne du Maurier, teeny tiny streets and alleyways leading to the estuary...I fell in love.
Steps leading to the estuary...
An empty shop, I couldn't imagine a more perfect place than here to open a vintage/maker shop...sigh. Look at the bull's eye glass!
Narrow streets, one car wide.

Exquisite shops...

and the estuary...

~0~
And onto Homespun. So good to meet up with all my bloggy friends, too many to mention. We all had such a good day. jane had the most adorable doggy on wheels for sale... he ended up going to the best home possible vintagemagpie Look how well he looks with one of Nicky's beautiful bears.

lizzie had a stand which was divine and so too was lizzie'sandlindas to name but a few.

I managed to inhale one slice of lemon cake that would have choked a bull....my teeth itched and I felt a bit sick after consumption... only due to it's enormity though. There it is, the monster cake on the left.
Although a fast and mad couple of days, it was memorably lovely. Thank you Jane and Christine for organising such a wonderful Fair.
~0~
Yet again I have to thank everyone for leaving their comments of friendship and support. New followers too. I am a very lucky girl.
Thanks so much for stopping by. x

Oh, I wish I could jump into your blog and come for a visit. I don't know if I have ever seen a town so quaint and magical.
And speaking of magic, what an amazing venue the Homespun Fair is. I am always amazed and am always so inspired and happy to see pictures posted. I do admit a wee bit of jealousy as well.:) *sigh* xxoo

What a lovely pup! He looks like a hearbreaker to me. We have two doggie family members who are getting a little long in the tooth and probably won't be with us much longer. Its hard to think ahead - even if we will adopt new members - but your little guy would be perfect for me. What wonderful addition for you....

What a sweetie he is! :)

Is he any relation to Doreen edna etc? He is just the ticket. How will you go on whjen you go to work? I want a puppy but you can;t leave them alone in the house can you?
I love Fowey too. Stayed ther en route to Scilly a few years ago. Did you go to Sams for seafood?
You do get to some great fairs. I wish I did.

Oh Viv the new puppy is gorgeous!!! I´m so happy for you all! Your old girl will get used to him, but I know what you mean.... Old Snuff is not amused when my parents bring their pup...!

And the fair pictures looks lovely! What a cake buffet! Wish I could have been there.

Apart from that it´s big sadness here in the house - we had Frasse put to sleep this morning, he had become very poorly over the weekend and we decided that his time had come. We still find it hard to cope with the thought that he´s not going to be around anymore, he was such a "present" cat and filled such a big space in our domestic life, in the best imaginable way. Luckily we have the other pets to cheer us up a bit, but still....

Give the new family member a big hug from me!

Really enjoyed all the fair photos and those cakes...I would have had a piece of the huge one too...lol. Those textiles look wonderful and just right to rummage through. As for your new puppy. He is gorgeousness personified. My nephew and his wife live in Lostwithiel and they took me for a visit to Fowey. It is a brilliant place.
