Slowly we unfurl, as Lotus Flowers....

Hello,
I hope all is well in your world.
Wanted to show you this lovely old picture, an eBay purchase from America.
Isn't it just lovely?
I am looking forward to incorporating the Bunny, maybe the child aswell into imagery for a purse or needlecase.
I love the shoes the child is wearing, with the little boot buttons.   I wonder who he was?

.I also wanted to show you my little sales area at thewearhouse Ludlow, Shropshire.    It's only a small alcove, one side of the fireplace, in a lovely room on the ground floor.   I am very pleased with the space and really want to concentrate on my hand made pieces there.   If you ever visit Ludlow, make sure you drop in at The Wear-House, used to be Zani Lady...there are so many gorgeous things to buy, (I don't mean mine).

First of this weeks' makes...

A purse with chain handle.   Dirk, Doug and Derek upto high jinks, pretending they belong to the circus, no doubt.
A screen printed needlecase.
Lovin' the feedsack cotton at the bottom of the needlecase...it took all my strength to cut into it and use it :-)
back view
Now onto a new idea/design.
Seeing that nearly everyone these days has some sort of gadget...mobile/cell phone, MP3, Blackberry, iPhone/pod, you get the idea, I thought it would be useful to have a padded pocket, to keep it safe, or at least from being scratched.
So, we have
Kit the Cat ... (sold)...

Dirk, or is it Doug?

Doug or is it Dirk...I can never tell!

sold
The pockets measure about 4" x just 5.5", which just about caters for all gadgets and gizmos.
Have a great week and once again, thank you for stopping by. x

Hey Viv, love the new gadget cases, very sweet.

Wish I lived nearby so I could duck into the wear house and admire all your lovely makes.

It's a beautiful sunny morning here after a cold, grey and wet weekend, makes all the difference to my creative mood. Hope you are enjoying some lovely Summery weather too.

Firstly, Thom Yorke = genius.
Secondly - your pile of dogs are just adorable (my greedy self is thinking I want MORE of your work!)
Thirdly - love any kind of gadget case. When I got my kindle from out it's case on the train yesterday I could feel the envy in the fellow passengers eyes. And I lapped it up!
Hope you are well right now - and still feeling refreshed after your hols?
happy new week,
