a year ago or so, I met Tamar of
Tamar's handkerchiefs are designed here in UK and embroidered by
Bulgarian ladies at the studio over in Bulgaria.
tamielle's ethos can be found on the website.
Tamar kindly asked if I would design and co-design half a dozen hankies ...
which I was very happy to do.
The pictures here are one of the designs we created.
If you fancy, pop over to tamielle's website for more info.

I hope all is well with you and yours.

Many moons ago, I embroidered the piece pictured above, for my sister, who recently moved into a  bigger home...allowing her to put all her belongings out and this being one of them.
It was lovely to see this little embroidery again.
So, feeling inspired, I thought I would revisit this style and embroidered the vintage envelope below.
Looking forward to embroidering more in 2016.

I have to go back and take the time to enjoy and savour.

a few makes to show you.

I really, really enjoy making these Butterflies.
So I have used one to embellish an altered WWII Ciggy tin.
To keep treasures safe and sound.

A little Liberty Tana Lawn used for this Butterfly's Wings.

Below, Bracelet Cuffs ...I love this colour green...a really good 1940's green I think,
which goes nicely with the red.

That's me for now.

just back from a week's holiday.
A really good 'switch off', swimming in warm, clear sea, drinking Sangria and eating Paella.   Lovely.
Anyway, I just wanted to show you some of the Butterfly Brooches and Pendants I stitched whilst away.
Details in my Etsy Shop ...

You may remember my screen printed assorted fabrics in packs of ten... for all kind of craft projects.

I have been very happily working on these 1" wide, long, adjustable bracelets, with a nod to the past.
Simple, folk style stitching with all vintage materials.  Very happy with how they have come together.

I hope all is well with you and yours.
Just a quick post, as always...
As you can see I have been making bags.   I delivered a Workshop at the wonderful Hope & Elvis Studios in Nottinghamshire last Saturday and wanted a few examples of my ideas for embellishing  bags.
They have now been popped into Etsyland.
I also have quite a few other pieces reduced in price...a end of Summer/pay day I want to restock my Shop with new designs soon.
If you are interested in Workshops and Fairs I will be delivering and attending, please see the link above and in the sidebar for dates and venues.
