There's nothing left, all gone and run away, maybe you'll tarry for a while...

Hello,
just a few pics of a sweet visit to Trentham Gardens, Stoke on Trent

The planting is absolutely fabulous

The Echinacea in particular was so very beautiful.
and onto a few things I have made over the past couple of weeks.
Free machine embroidered bunny on a 1902 legal Notice.
Mail art...I included the feathers that I found hidden in the bottom of this 1916 envelope.
 Birdy in a tin

 Needlecases...

Another Bunny on a vintage paper...
and a purse...she's the 'Keeper of the buttons' :)

Wednesday - Horace met a girl, she was small and she was very pretty, he thought he was in love, he was afraid....

Thank you again to everyone who entered my Give-away.  A fantastic response.
I will be having another very soon.

I have been enjoying working on a series of Envelope Artworks.
Quite difficult to work on such a small scale.  The placement of each element takes time and a great deal of thought.   Embroidering on fragile paper ain't no joke either!  I hope you like them, I am pleased with how they have come together...a celebration of our four legged best friends.
All are sold but for this one below, in my Etsy shop.

Giveaway time

Hello,

not much making going on around here over the last week or so.   Not feeling too great, nasty Fibromyalgia flare up.   So I thought I would potter and sort my Studio a little.   My little workroom was very cluttered with everything everywhere. A good sort and clear out did me the world of good.  I feel inspired to try some new ideas and feel much more refreshed.

So, as promised, here is this month's 'Giveaway'.  A Bunny handmade needle case and a handmade brooch, with miniature embroidery.   To be picked by the Random Number Generator thingy, next Monday 5th August, UK time.   Please just leave a comment, to be entered into the draw.

New Workshop date

 Hello,
I hope all is well with you and yours.

Busy making, just of late....

and we have a new member of the Donkey family, I am very happy to report.
His name is Donald and here he is wearing a very lovely green plastic saddle.
He is telling stories about his life to Dixie, with Wonkey Donkey and One Eyed Wonkey listening on.
Truth is, Wonkey is a little envious of Donald's very fine ears.   Wonkey lost his some time ago, but doesn't like to talk about it.
Donald has settled in very nicely.
Anyroadup...

very happy to say I have a new Workshop date for a
stitched textile bracelet.
Details  HERE

It would be wonderful if you could come along.
Thanks for stopping by. x

Take the National Express when your life's in a mess, It'll make you smile...

 Hello,
cor!   What a scorcher!
I have been trying to make some pieces, but have been very distracted with Holly moving back home,
the sunny weather
and attending a wonderful Workshop at Unit Twelve Stafford...with Priscilla Jones
The Workshop is in conjunction with the 'Lost and Found' Exhibition currently running at Unit Twelve.
The Workshop theme :  Create fabulous 3D structures that are assembled using found materials such as ephemera, fabrics, wire and found oddments; using a range of processes including stitch, paint and wax. Materials will be available but do bring fabrics, ephemera, papers and an old box or tin to present your finished piece in.
What a fabulous teacher Priscilla is.   Generous with her knowledge and so incredibly talented.
I decided to not make a 3d piece ... but a necklace.
Here are a few snaps of the day...
I believe the next two pics to be Jennifer Collier's work, the owner of Unit Twelve.

Herbert Hare and a Wonkey Donkey and this lovely Haberdashery man...
 Batik pots on the go...
and work made by the lovely ladies at the Workshop...

 Jennifer and Priscilla...

this pic summed the day up for me...a very happy one.

Thanks for stopping by. x
ps: next week I am hoping to hold another 'Giveaway' and announce a couple of Hen's Teeth Workshop dates x
