I let the melody shine, let it cleanse my mind, I feel free now...

Texture,
to see it, to feel it...

surface embellishment

frayed edges
worn smooth, soft cotton against handwoven linen

flowery prints

the light catching the smooth reflective surface of a button from mother nature

colours from the past
hand embroidered flowers...
all
make me happy.

All so beautiful. The Grandmother's flower garden quilt pattern on the one bag reminds me of sleepovers at my Great-Grandmother's when I was a child.
Funny how fabric can stir the memory and the soul...

Oh, Viv! Utter gorgeousness, you crafty girl. Have you had a particularly productive burst lately or have you been stocking up over a long time? I hope the pain is bearable. The needlecases are my favourites, although it's hard to choose. J x
