My latest soldered collaged pendant ~ Nice little shirt button added to this one and a beautiful Viking Ship vintage stamp ~ lovely orangey red. Again for sale on Etsy.

Holly and I visited Westhope College, Craven Arms, Shropshire yesterday, end of year show. http://www.westhope.org.uk/ We had a lovely afternoon. The show consisted mainly of City and Guilds work which was, of course, very interesting....embroidery, glass, book binding etc. The College itself is an old Dower House, so very pretty.
Lovely coloured spools of wool.
My favourite bit of the afternoon ;-)
This was the view from the Village Hall, which hosted a craft fair in conjunction with the College show. I know you can't see from this pic very well but the view reminded me of Bavaria ~ the cows were a lovely ginger colour.
This was at the back of the village hall. Ancient apple orchard with sheep. What would you keep if you owned a Orchard. Sheep ~ Pigs ~ Geese ~ Hens ~ Goat ???? ~ Holl's suggestion was a Donkey!
This little fella waved goodbye as we left the college.
Thanks for visiting x

Brewery Ledger
Hey...I'm on a roll now, you will all be sick to death of me at this rate!
I want to thank everyone for your great comments, very kind and makes me very happy.
I'ts amazing what you can get done early in the morning. I have managed to do the best part of these two before the rest of the household appears, except for two dogs and 4 chickens of course and they are very demanding, particularly the chickens...anyway I digress. I purchased this old brewery ledger a little while ago and it has been the best few quid I have ever spent. Half of it went to Lu Summers and I must have included some part of it in everything I have done just lately. I have been using it as the background paper for the two pieces below. It dates back to the very early 1900s and goes up to 1930s. A really good find.
I have added these two to Etsy. Thanks for stopping by.

New stuff
I know, I've been away for ages.....is there anyone there?
I had really lost my get up and go over the last few weeks at work, but hey.....a couple of months off now and here is what I have been working on over the last week. I am really pleased with the results, although I say it myself :-)
I have been looking for a way of combining my embroidered envelope type work and making something to wear, and I'm really pleased with the solution. You know when you get an excited buzz about trying something new and that's me at the mo!
Soldering for the first time has been an experience and although it's a bit of a fiddle faddle it does the job nicely. I only worry that folks might find the soldering a bit rough and ready but that's the nature of the beast.
I am hoping to offer to personalise the back of the pendants too. Leaving me to do the front collaging, of course, but I can type any kind of wording for the back....
I've listed these six onto Etsy.
I would appreciate your feedback x
