I really enjoyed receiving all the comments from my last post ~ thank you x
My weekend work.
This is a homage to buttons, lovely, lovely old buttons, dirty buttons, broken buttons, buttons with thread still attached, big buttons, small buttons, handmade buttons, wobbly buttons, flat buttons. Buttons....I love you all. (Mmmmm, raised eyebrow).
Anyway, added more of the lovelies than usual to an extremely old ~ opened up ~ envelope here. Dated October 8th 1877. Really love the mellow, subtle, aged colours, attached to a piece of map. SOLD
Three more needlecases. I want to expand the thing I'm doing here. Maybe little note books. I would perhaps make some bags, or purse but I do not possess the techical capability of construction. This is about my limit. No matter how hard I try, I always seems to get it all very wrong! If you have any suggestions that don't involve the inclusion of a zip or a lining, I would be very grateful.
Just wanted to mention that I am now a member of Charlotte of fancypicnic Shopping List Saturday. I get to go shopping on Etsy (well window shop) and post the mosaic for all to enjoy. I did commit myself to last Saturday but badly let the team down! Apologies Charlotte x Will be posting a list this forthcoming Saturday. Check the members of Shopping List Saturday Charlotte's blog.
